Health care providers have long known about finasteride. In 1997, a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for finasteride was granted in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
What is finasteride? Finasteride is an oral prescription medication that works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that causes hair loss in men. DHT is responsible for the miniaturization of prostate glands, leading to urinary symptoms like difficulty in getting and maintaining an erection, and a decrease in the ability to urinate.
Finasteride is taken orally, usually once a day, for up to 10 months, depending on the condition being treated. It is important to consult with a healthcare provider to determine if finasteride is the right treatment for you, as well as any potential side effects or interactions with other medications you may be taking. Finasteride may help to improve urinary symptoms such as difficulty in getting an erection, decrease the need to urinate, and reduce the risk of passing urine during sex.
Finasteride may also be used for purposes other than those listed on this medication label. Talk to your healthcare provider for more information.

Hi, I have been using finasteride for quite a while now, so my hair is starting to thin, and i'm not too familiar with it. I started with finasteride and continued with it until I found another product that works well (and is cheaper). I'm just curious if anyone has tried it before and if it was worth trying?
Hi I have been using finasteride for quite a while now. I started with finasteride and continued with it until I found another product that worked well. Then I went online and bought a lot of different hair loss products that I could use but still couldn't help but thinning my hair. My only suggestion would be that someone would buy them from me, and I'd do some research to see if they are legit.
I would also suggest taking finasteride 1-2 hrs or so before you start the treatment. Finasteride has to work well in the long term for you, and not too much is lost. It's best not to stop using it without consulting your doctor as much as possible. I was using finasteride about a year ago, and the side effects were such that I could not even stop the medication. After about a month, it seemed to have subsided, and i was able to have a more consistent, thinner head of hair. I can definitely say that finasteride worked well. I had no side effects, and I am still struggling with some side effects of finasteride that I do not know about.
So, any ideas from someone that might be able to help you?
Hello,
I have been using finasteride for almost a year now, but I have started noticing a difference with the hair loss product that I was using. I was trying to get some finasteride for a hair transplant, but my hair wasn't as thin as it used to be. I bought a lot of different products from online sellers, and I was able to find a lot of products that worked well and were affordable. I have heard of people being able to buy them from me for less, but I am worried that buying them from someone else can be risky.
My doctor has prescribed finasteride to me because my hair was so thin that he prescribed it to me. I have been trying to get another product that works well, but it seems that it isn't really a good option. I would love to hear from anyone who has tried them, and if anyone else is taking them, that they can really help.
I have been using finasteride for almost a year now. I started with finasteride and continued with it until I found another product that worked well (and was cheaper). I went online and bought several different products that were very similar to the ones that I had tried before, but there were still a lot of different options out there. They all worked great, but one seemed to be the best option. But as I said, I have to weigh my options. In general, I would not recommend using finasteride to anyone. It is the only hair loss product that has been shown to work for some people. It is not worth the risk, and the only product that seems to be an effective treatment is the one that has been on my dermatology list since 2012, and has been very affordable for me.
Thanks!
Hi,
I have been using finasteride for quite a while now, and my hair was still starting to thin after the first month. I've taken the tablets that I was taking to see if they work for me, and they did. I started finasteride one day after my hair was thinning. I started finasteride one hour after I was taking it, and it worked great for me, but then I began to notice some changes in my hair. Some part of it looked like a bit of a receding hairline, and my scalp could be slightly swollen, but it wasn't. I'm still in a good spot. I'm not sure if it works, or if there is anything wrong with it. I'm not sure if it's a side effect or not. Does anyone know what it is or what to look for?
